Ksmooth da programma

Kenneth "KSmooth da Programma" Willoughby is a Chicago native with a lifelong passion for music. He began his journey as a drummer at age five, performing for local churches by the time he was fifteen. By eighteen, he was a professional musician, lending his talent to numerous bands, including the Javon Watson Experience, the Charles Matthew Jr. Jazz Trio, and the internationally-touring band GypsyFari.
In 1995, Willoughby started an internship at Beverly Hills Recording Studio (Chicago). Within a year, he had advanced to a sound engineering and management role, where he worked with legendary artists such as Carl Davis, Gene Chandler, Joe Simon, and Jerry Butler. His production credits also include hip-hop and R&B artists like Everyday Huslaz and Glen O'Neil of the platinum selling group Public Announcement.
Over the past few years, Willoughby has been producing his debut solo LP, "Higher Self". He wrote, produced, and arranged the entire album, which he recorded at StressFree Studio, Chicago IL.
